Covenant Lutheran Church is a community of faith rooted in the love of God. As Lutherans, reading and studying scripture, preaching and sharing in Holy Communion and Baptism are how we define what it means to be in church together. Christ is present in all our gatherings. We believe worship is not just found inside our building but we are sent back out to become God's presence to a hurting world that needs to hear, see, touch and taste God's presence. The baptismal covenant calls each of us to this important ministry: to gather as the body of Christ but more importantly, to be the body of Christ in the world. At the heart of everything we do is the understanding that we must love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated ourselves.
